This devils food cake was filled with a cookies and cream filling. I covered it in blue fondant and embossed the sides with a quilted pattern. I then made roses out of gumpaste for the top of the cake.

Embracing the 80's
This cake was made for an 80's party I hosted. Under the fondant is a devils food cake with chocolate hazelnut buttercream filling. Standing at just over a foot tall this cake had the speakers, am/fm controls, tape deck and a bunch of 80's band names on the back and sides of the cake.
Purple Zebra
This red velvet cake has a cream cheese filling. It is covered with purple fondant with black fondant zebra stripes. To finish it off I gave it a pearl border around the bottom.

This cake was for Georgia's 60th Birthday. She is a huge Paul McCartney fan so what better way to go then his picture on her cake. The cake is covered in fondant but Paul McCartney was done using a frozen buttercream transfer.

Happy Birthday to me!
I made this cake to celebrate my boyfriend and my Birthday's. I just got an airbrush kit as a present so I wanted to put it to use. The base of this cake is a light blue fondant with darker blue airbrushed for detail. I hand piped the flowers and leaves on the cake using royal icing and an embroidery technique. The cake was chocolate with a Reese's Peanut butter filling.

Baby Boy or Girl?
I made this cake for a friends gender reveal party. When it was time for their ultrasound to find out what the babies sex was, they got the results sealed in an envelope and they were handed right to me. The couple had a big party with all their friends and family and cut into the cake to see if the cake was either pink or blue.

This slot machine cake was for Hugh's 60th Birthday. Under the fondant is a chocolate cake with a vanilla custard filling.

This two tiered cake was for Jason's 40th Birthday. The bottom tier is a lemon cake with a cream cheese filling, and the second tier is a vanilla cake with a strawberry cream filling. The boat on top is made of rice krispy squares covered in fondant.
Hole in one
I made this cake for Ken who was celebrating his 91st Birthday. Ken just retired from golfing this past year and his daughter wanted something special for him on his Birthday. This red velvet cake with a cream cheese filling was covered in fondant and piped with a grass tip to give it the feel of a real golf course.

Another yankee's fan! This cake was for Doug's suprise party. The bottom tier was vanilla cake and the top was chocolate. Both tiers were filled with a vanilla custard.

This Batman cake was for Jacob's 5th Birthday party. The Batmobile on the top of the cake was made of rice krispy squares and covered in fondant. I then airbrushed the car black to give it a nice shine.
Circus circus...
This has to be one of my favourite cakes that I have done now! This cake was made of a layer of strawberry cake sandwiched between two layers of vanilla cake with a raspberry cream filling and covered in raspberry buttercream I then covered the cake with fondant. The circus tent and flags were made out of gumpaste so that they would be hard enough to stand up. The elephant and popcorn were hand scuplted out of fondant.

This cute little owl cake was for a baby shower welcoming Wynne Arya Goodman into the world. All the details on top of the cake were made using fondant. The cake itself was a marble cake with a chocolate ganache filling and a coconut buttercream frosting.

This cake for the Heather's wedding shower. I gave the sides of the cake a quilted look and covered the cake with shimmer dust to give it a bit of sparkle. Under the fondant is a marble cake with a chocolate ganache center.
This little piggy..
I made this cake for my sister's friend Derek's Birthday. The body of the pig is made up of raspberry cake with 3 layers of cream cheese filling, while the head of the pig is made out of rice krispy treats. I covered the entire cake in fondant but used gumpaste for the ears and tail so they would harded and hold their shape. I then added some buttercream grass for a splash of extra colour.
Baby Shower for little Logan.
This cake was for my friend Tracy's baby shower. Her favourite cake is red velvet with a cream cheese filling so I had to go with that! On top of the cake is a little onesie, and the side of the cake has some button details and an argyle print. Everyone really enjoyed the cake (including me!)
Wine
This wine box and bottle cake was for Gian's 50th Birthday Party. The cake is red velvet with a cream cheese filling. The box is covered in fondant and I air brushed the sides to give it the appearance of wood. I hand carved the bottle out of cake and covered it fondant and used buttercream to write out the label. The stuffing around the bottle is fondant as well, but I ran it through my pasta maker to give it a textured look.
Transformers
I made this Transformer's cake for Rhett's 4th Birthday. I carved the car ( Bumblebee) on top of the cake out of rice krispy treats and covered it with fondant. The cake itself is a chocolate cake with a cookies and cream filling.
Hello Kitty
This vanilla cake with a chocolate ganache filling was for Isavella's 6th Birthday. I hand sculpted Hello Kitty out of fondant and cut the fondant flowers out with a diasy cutter. The bow on the side of the cake is made out of gumpaste so it holds its stiffness.
Rubber Ducky
This bathtub cake is red velvet with a cream cheese filling. I covered the cake in fondant and made little fondant balls covered in pearl dust for the bubbles. The faucet is made out of gumpaste (so it turns very hard) and is brushed with silver luster dust. I hand sculpted each little rubber ducky out of fondant.
Max and Ruby
This Max and Ruby cake was for Gabriella's 3rd Birthday. This was a chocolate cake with a strawberry cream filling. All the details are made out of fondant except for the grass detail which was done using buttercream icing.
Meant to Bee
This bee hive cake was for an engagement party. I took 4 layers of chocolate cake and carved the sides to have a rounded appearance. I then covered the entire cake in a yellow fondant and contoured the fondant around each tier. To give the cake some depth I airbrushed between the tiers. To top off the cake I made little fondant bees and gerbers.
Buzzy Bee
This "Buzzy Bee" cake was for my favourite little guy Logan. For his first Birthday I made Buzzy Bee which is a New Zealand cartoon that he loves to watch. This marble cake has a chocoalte ganache filling.

This cake was made for Brent's 50th Birthday party which just happened to be on the 4th of July. The bottom tier of this cake was chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling, and the top tier was a vanilla cake with a cookies and cream filling. I hand carved the cakes to give it a topsy turvy look.

This fondant cake was for Ashlynn's baby shower. I used two different sized quilting patterns and finished the cake off with a pearl border, some little flowers, LOTS of pearl dust so it shimmered, and of course a tiara.
Disney's Frozen
This strawberry cake with a strawberry cream filling was for Gabriella's 4th Birthday party. I sculpted the characters Olaf and Sven out of fondant. The snowflakes were made using a fondant cutter and I topped the cake off with an airbrush coat of luster dust so that the snow shimmered.

This circus cake was a two tiered cake made of vanilla cake with a custard filling. The top tier was made to look like a circus tent. The seal and popcorn were shaped out of fondant.

This Harley Davidson cake was for Bob's 65th Birthday and retirement party. The Harley logo on top of the cake was done with royal icing. The flames and lettering cut out of fondant and airbrushed for a more detailed look.

40th Birthday
I made this ombre style cake for a 40th Birthday party. The cake was to have a more masculine look, so I did a square cake with stripes that go from a light aqua to black. This raspberry cake with a cream cheese filling also had the ombre effect inside of the cake. The cake faded from white to an aqua so you got a suprise when you cut into it.
Sky Diving
This cake was for Joanne's 30th Birthday party! She was suppose to go sky diving in the morning and then get to celebrate her dive with this special cake! Unfortunately due to the typical Vancouver weather her sky diving had to be re-scheduled. I hope this lemon cake with a raspberry cream filling helped make her Birthday special.
Oi Oi Oi
I made this cake for my co-worker Julie who wanted to have a delicous cake to eat after completing the outdoor race "Tough Mudder." Underneath the chocolate buttercream icing on this cake is a chocolate cake with a cream cheese filling. She wanted a fist to come out of the cake to celebrate her accomplishment, so I carved rice krispy cereal treats and covered them in fondant. I think this cake is a little on the creepy side because it looks a little too real for me, but was exactly what Julie wanted :)

I made this scrabble cake for my Auntie Joey's 50th Birthday party. This raspberry cake with a cream cheese filling is covered in a marbled fondant which I air brushed to give the look of wood. I even made each letter tile out of fondant.

This cake was for Leisa and Mike's big gender reveal party. This is a raspberry cake with a cream cheese filling but the flavour of it really isn't important. They cut the cake open to find a PINK cake!! Congratulations :)
Retirement
This cake was made for a friends retirement from a police surveillance unit. They spend a lot of their days hiding in bushes watching people so I couldn't think of a more appropriate cake.

This cake was for Anna's 7th Birthday party. Anna's party was at a shop where the kids all got to paint ceramic or clay pots and cups. This inside of the cake is vanilla cake with a cookies and cream filling. When you cut into this cake there are 5 different layers all in a rainbow of colours.

This Winnie the Pooh cake was for Amie's baby shower. I covered the chocolate with fondant and hand made the characters out of fondant. I used a pearl border to finish off the edges of the cake and wrote a very cute quote out of royal icing.

This Hawaiian cake was for Paige's Birthday party. The tiki hut is made of cake and I added little fondant flowers and palm tree's for an extra tropical feel.

This cake was for Brooklynn's 2nd Birthday. This vanilla cake was covered in fondant with a pearl border. I had made the characters out of a fondant/ gumpaste mix and then topped off the cake with lots of flowers and leaves.
Louis Vitton
I made this edible Louis Vitton speedy bag cake for my friend Shannon's Birthday. This red velvet cake has a cream cheese filling. I covered the cake in brown fondant and then air brushed it to give it the look of real leather. To make the Louis Vitton pattern I used sugar sheets and cut out each individual symbol and then airbrushed them with gold.
